    What authority says the best time to buy a home is spring or summer? There is some belief that period is the best time to SELL a house. In reality, it is probably the most convenient time for both buyers and sellers.

    The best time to buy or sell is when you are ready, willing and able to!

  2. I have to agree with Steve here. From all of the research I have done and the statistics I have analyzed, spring and summer are the best times to list a house. This is often the time when the most buyers come out to shop, but it is also when the prices are the highest. Additionally due to the demand caused by so many buyers, sellers often wait until the end of summer to substantially reduce the list price.
